Yangon, the 1st Waning of Nayon, 1366 M.E.
( 3rd June, 2004 ) |
| 1. In order that the Government of
the Union of Myanmar may implement the Agreement on the Common
Effective Preferential Tariff (CEPT) Scheme for the ASEAN Free
Trade Area, which is an agreement of the ASEAN, the Ministry
of Finance and Revenue has already notified the CEPT Product
List and Tariff Reduction Plan which is a basic requirement
for the implementation thereof, by Notification No. 247/97,
dated 10th December, 1997. |
| 2. Although the whole CEPT SCHEME
has already been notified with the object of enabling the import
and export entrepreneurs to know clearly and easily the CEPT
SCHEME, it is hereby notified that the tariff rates of commodities
contained in the IL-Inclusion List mentioned in the schedule
attached, and which are covered by the H.S CODE have been reduced
from the existing rates to the respective rates contained in
the schedule. |
3. The provision contained in this
Notification shall take effect commencing from 1st January,
2004.
