| According to the Union of Myanmar
Foreign Investment Law, Foreign Investment section is
carrying out the following functions. |

Scrutinizing foreign investment
proposals |

Scrutinizing investment contracts and providing
legal opinion |
| - |
Explaining foreign investment opportunities
and procedures |
| - |
Providing necessary assistance to the investors
for investment facilitation |
| - |
Providing necessary assistance to the permitted
enterprises facing any problems and difficulties in their
business operation, when necessary |
| - |
Monitoring and evaluation upon the implementation
of the foreign investment projects. |

of Myanmar Citizen's Investment Section |
| According to the Union of Myanmar
Citizen's Investment Law, Local/ Domestic Investment section
is carrying out the following functions. |

Scrutinizing Domestic investment
proposals. |

Scrutinizing investment contracts and providing
legal opinion. |

Explaining investment opportunities and
procedures |

Providing necessary assistance to the investors

Domestic investment projects. |
| Functions
of Legal Section |
| Scrutinizing the
investment proposals, commercial contracts attached with
the proposals and investment permits whether they are
in line with the existing Laws of Myanmar. |
| Functions
of Company Registration Section |
| The Company Registration
Section is carrying out the function of scrutinizing the
application on formation of new business organization;
registering the name and monitoring in accordance with
the Myanmar Companies Act, 1914, Special Company Act,
1950 and Partnership Act, 1932. |

of International Organizations and Research Section (
National AFTA Unit ) |
| International Organizations
and Research Section is carrying out the functions of
Economic Co-operation with ASEAN, BIMSTEC, GMS and other
international organizations. |
