The 2-day Second COMPASS Regional Workshop on FDI Statistics, jointly organized by Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) under Ministry of Planning and Finance, ASEAN Secretariat and EU-ASEAN COMPASS, was held at Esperado Lake View Hotel in Yangon on 29thSeptember, 2016. At the workshop, U San Myint, Deputy Director General of DICA, Ms. Elizabeth Alarilla, technical officer of ASEAN Secretariat’s office and Ms. Christine Spanneut, EU-ASEAN COMPASS Program's Expert gave opening remarks each and they proceeded to the program.
It was attended by the total of 31 representativescomprising of 23 from ASEAN Member States (AMS), 6 experts form EU COMPASS, OECD, IMF and ADB, and 2 from ASEANstat. At the workshop, they discussed about FDIS analysis gathering all AMS and more specially FDIS data user.
