BUILDING OWNERSHIP |
| (1) REGULATION
ON ACQUISITION OF LAND AND BUILDING |
Foreign organizations and persons are not allowed to own land
in Myanmar. However, Land may be acquired from Government owned
lands, Governmental Department, Organization owned lands and
Citizen owned private lands for the period of up to 30 years
initially and extended two consecutive terms of 15 years depend
on investment amount and type of business activity.
