ATTENDING THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING FOR CORPORATE GOVERNANCE REFORM

In order to identify gaps between corporate governance in Myanmar and global standards and make recommendations for further corporate governance reform in Myanmar, the Advisory Committee for Corporate Governance Reform Meeting was held on 28th February, 2019 at Pan Pacific Hotel, Yangon. The meeting was attended by U Aung Naing Oo, Director General, officials from the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration. After that, U Aung Naing Oo, Director General gave a presentation focused on the recent development in corporate governance and key issues for corporate governance in the Myanmar Companies Law.
