WORKSHOP ON INVESTOR-STATE DISPUTE SETTLEMENT MECHANISM(ISDS) HILTON HOTEL, NAY PYI TAW, MYANMAR

With the assistance of the International Finance Cooperation, “Investor-State Dispute Settlement Mechanism(ISDS)” Workshop was conducted at Hilton Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw  on 21st  to 22nd January, 2016. 

               Workshop was attended by the relevant officials altogether 50 persons from Supreme Court of the Union, Union Attorney General Office , Counsellor and Legal Department, Directorate of Investment and Company Administration and the experts from World Bank Group and Australia.

At the workshop, U Aung Naing Oo, the Director General of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration and Mr. Charles Schneider, Senior Operations  Officer, the World Bank Group delivered the opening remarks respectively. Then, the experts from World Bank Group and Australia explained about the Investor-State Dispute Settlement Mechanism and the workshop was concluded.
