“ONLINE VIDEO CONFERENCE FOR THE LAUNCHING EVENT OF THE ANNUAL OPERATION PLAN (2020-2021) OF THE SHAN STATE INVESTMENT PROMOTION PLAN (SSIPP) “
An online video conference was held on December 21st, 2020 by the Shan State Investment Committee (SSIC) to introduce the operational plan of the Shan State Investment Promotion Plan (SSIPP) for the fiscal year 2020-2021. At the event, U Soe Nyunt Lwin, Minister of Planning and Economics, Shan State delivered the opening speech, and U Lay Naing, Director of DICA and the secretary of Shan State Investment Committee presented an overview of the SSIPP’s annual operation plan. Then the representatives from the relevant working groups of the SSIPP answered questions from the media and other participants.
The Shan State Investment Committee (SSIC) was officially announced the Shan State Investment Promotion Plan (SSIPP) in March 2020.
The plan is based on the objectives of each SSIPP strategy and includes detailed work plans and timelines, estimated budgets, and business indicators to be achieved in Shan State during the fiscal year 2020-2021 for each working group. The implementation plan was facilitated by GIZ Business on behalf of the German Government.
