THE 6TH VIRTUAL MEETING OF THE INCLUSIVE BUSINESS/IMPACT INVESTING STEERING GROUP

A virtual event on the 6th Meeting of the Inclusive Business/Impact Investing Steering Group organized by the DaNa Facility was held at 2:00 pm on 10th December 2020. The meeting was attended by a total of 27 participants notably U Thant Sin Lwin, Director General of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), Daw Aye Aye Win, Director General of the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection under the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry, U Khon Aye Naing, Director General of Small-Scale Industries Department, Daw Naw Mutakapaw, Director General of the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, Deputy Director General U Min Zaw Oo and Officials from DICA and members of the  Inclusive Business/Impact Investing Steering Group.

At the meeting, Mr. Peter Brimble, Senior Technical Advisor from the DaNa Facility gave the introductory remarks and Director General U Thant Sin Lwin and Director General Daw Aye Aye Win delivered the opening remarks respectively. Then the BOP Inc. presented the upcoming COVID-19 Response: New IB Online Bootcamp modules and the draft policy document on Inclusive Business Policy in Myanmar and its updated work plan. It was followed by presentation of IB Guide and IB Award 2020 as ASEAN Activities. After that, the members of the Inclusive Business/Impact Investing Steering Group discussed matters on the presentations and the meeting was concluded at 3:45 pm.
