YRIC HOLDS SEMINAR ON “INVESTMENT PROMOTION OF PADDY CULTIVATION SECTOR IN YANGON REGION”

Seminar on “Investment Promotion of Paddy Cultivation Sector in Yangon Region” was jointly held by Yangon Region Investment Committee and Myanmar – China (Jiangsu) Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated. The Seminar was led by U Aung Than Oo, Member (3) of Yangon Region Administrative Council (YRAC) at Yangon Region Investment Committee Office on 28th June, 2021.

At the seminar, U Aung Than Oo, Member (3) of YRAC gave welcoming remarks, and then U Myo Khaing  Oo, Director of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration(DICA), Yangon Region Branch Office explained the Investment opportunities according to Myanmar Investment law, rules and regulations.  After that, U Soe Thein,  Deputy Director for Directorate of Agriculture, Yangon Region Branch Office presented on the investment opportunities for agriculture sector in detail. In addition, the participants asked questions and discussed.

Thereafter, the participants visited to Rice Research Center in Hmawbi Township and seed production field in Thanatpin Village in the afternoon.

A total of 25 participants including government officials and businessmen from Myanmar – China (Jiangsu) Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated attended the Seminar.
