BAGO REGION INVESTMENT COMMITTEE HOLDS ITS (2/2022) MEETING

Bago Region Investment Committee Meeting (2/2022) was convened at the Bago Region Government Office on 25th February 2022. The meeting was chaired by U Myo Swe Win, the Chairman of the Bago Region Investment Committee and Chief Minister of Bago Region Government, and attended by the members of the Committee.  

The meeting discussed and approved the extension of the construction period and increase in capital of five foreign investment projects. The approved increase in capital of the projects will allow to flow the total investment amount of US$ 6.33 million into the region and expected to create job opportunities for the residents and assist the socio-economic development of the region.

Since 1st February 2021, the Bago Region Investment Committee has approved the total investment amounts of USD 110 million and over 8 billion MMK, and has created about 5000 job opportunities for the residents of the region.
