The closing and prize-giving ceremony of a three-week capacity building training No. 7 was held at the DICA head office in Yangon today. The purpose of the training was for staff and newly appointed staff to understand existing laws, rules and procedures of investment and company registration, work place skills and implementation practices of the Department to ensure efficient provision of services.
U Aung Naing Oo, Director General, attended the closing ceremony and delivered a speech. After that U Aung Naing Oo awarded prizes to the first prize winner U Than Zaw Aung(Upper Clerk, Investment Division 4), the second prize winner Daw May Zin Oo (Deputy Staff Officer, Bago Region Branch Office) and the third prize winner U Myo Min Thu (Driver 5, Mandalay Region Branch Office). Dr. Malar Myo Nyunt, Deputy Director General, and Dr. Lwin Thuzar Shwe, Director of Human Resource Department and Research Devision gave certificates to each trainee. After that the U Than Zaw Aung, the first prize winner, gave a thank-you note on behalf of all trainees. The ceremony was attended by 55 staff including Director General, Deputy Director Generals, Directors, Deputy Directors and 20 trainees.
