Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations was able to issue recommendation letters for more than 3,000 foreigners to be able to travel by relief flights starting from May to August

Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations (MIFER) is issuing recommendation letters for foreigners working at the investment projects under the permit/ endorsement of Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) and companies registered at DICA to be able to travel by relief flights.

In doing so, MIFER was able to scrutinize and recommend 584 foreigners from 17 countries/ regions in May, 897 foreigners from 21 countries/ regions in June, 1,076 foreigners from 27 countries/ regions in July, 491 foreigners from 32 countries/ regions in August to be able to travel by relief flights. The total of 3,048 foreigners are scrutinized and recommended for relief flights.
