The Myanmar Investment Forum 2017 attracted more than 100 economic organisations, 90 foreign enterprises and nearly 200 Myanmar business people when it was held in Nay Pyi Taw on 6-7 June.
H.E U MyintSwe, Vice President, Republic of the Union of Myanmar presented the keynote speech and HE U Kyaw Win, Union Minister of Ministry of Planning and Finance and HE U Aung Htoo, Vice Minister of Ministry of Commerce outlined Myanmar's economic and trade policy.
In the second session of the Forum, U Aung NaingOo, Director General of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration gave an update on the positive investment environment in Myanmar following the implementation of the new Myanmar Investment Law and Rules and discussed the changing nature of Myanmar's economy.
The Forum was organized by the Myanmar Investors Development Association.
