The Yangon Regional Government will hold a Yangon Region Investment Forum 2018(YIF 2018) on 9th May, 2018, at Novotel Yangon Max Hotel, with the coordination of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce, German Cooperation Implemented through GIZ and Myanmar Investors Development Association (MIDA).
The forum will give participants an opportunity to discuss directly with Yangon Regional Government and relevant officials on: Myanmar Investment Law and Regulations, Investment information of Yangon Region, the current implementing projects, the investment facilitation service, current trend of businesses, investments and enabling environments, and successful investments in Thilawa Special Economic Zone.
The morning session will focus on New Investment Application Procedure and the afternoon session will focus on Investment Opportunities in the Yangon Region.
At the forum, four pavilions are arranged by Yangon Regional Government, Yangon Region Investment Committee, GIZ, PwC Myanmar. Myanmar Investors Development Association (MIDA), to provide investment related information including on Investment Application Guide Book, Doing Business in Yangon and Taxation Guide Book to the participants and investors.
Networking dinner will be hosted by Myanmar Invetors Development Association (MIDA) to build the relationship among the investors from both local and international who joined the forum.
