The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 11/2022 was held at the Yangon Region Investment Committee office on 25th November, 2022.
The meeting was chaired by U Soe Thein, Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government and Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee and attended by the members of the committee.
The meeting endorsed one Myanmar citizen investment project and six foreign investment projects in manufacturing sector. The endorsed investment projects include manufacturing of various kinds of garment, socks, shoes on CMP basis, manufacturing and sale of construction materials (high rise building, warehouse and bridges) on CMP basis and production of structural metal products (Such as Steel Structure, Color Steel Tile).
The total investment amounts of the approved projects are Myanmar Kyat 1633.405 million and USD 7.148 million. The approved projects are expected to create 2,885 local job opportunities. Moreover, the meeting also discussed the general issues submitted by sixteen companies.
