The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting 7/2022 was held at Yangon Region Investment Committee office on 27th July, 2022. The meeting was chaired by Chief Minister for Yangon Region Government and the Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee, U Soe Thein and attended by the members of the committee.
At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee endorsed two Myanmar citizen investment projects and eight foreign investment projects. The endorsed investment projects include projects of production and sale of value added bran products, manufacturing various kinds of garments, bag and shoes on CMP basis, manufacturing dried vermicelli and production and exportation of value added fish and shrimps.
The total investment value of 10 endorsed investment projects is 3,309.5 million Myanmar Kyats and 13.315 million USD and these projects are expected to create 7,013 local job opportunities. Moreover, the meeting discussed the general issues submitted by 12 companies.
