Training on Cost & Benefit Anaysis of Investment Proposals [1]

The opening ceremony of the training on Cost and Benefit Analysis of Investment Proposals with the financial assistance of ASEAN Japan Center (AJC) as ASEAN National Activities for 2017 and technical assistance of United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) was held at the Inya Lake Hotel, Yangon on 15th  January 2018 and it will be continued to 16th January 2018 as the two day event.The training aims to motivate the capacities of the DICA officials in evaluation and appraisal of investment projects to be beneficial investment for the country.

 U Than Aung Kyaw, Deputy Director General , Directorate of Investment and Company Administration , Mr Masataka Fujita, Secretary General of ASEAN Japan Center (AJC) and Mr Yongfu Ouyang, Economic affairs Officer of United Nation Conference of Trade and Development (UNCTAD) made the opening remarks respectively and it will  be  discussed the priniciples of successful FDI promotion , benefits from FDI by Cost / Benefit Analysis and Qualitative analysis,Multiple Criteria Analysis and Project Prioritization during the training.

The training was attended (65) officials from Directorate of Invesrment and Company Administration, Planning Department and Project Appraisal and Progress Reporting Department.
