Yangon Region Investment Committee Meeting 16/2018 approved 26 Investment Businesses including Manufacturing of Garment and Manufacturing of various kind of signal cable which created over 2500 job opportunities in each [1]

The Yangon Region Investment Committee’s meeting 16/2018 led by U Phyo Min Thein, the Chairman of the Yangon Region Investment Committee, Chief Minister  for  the Yangon  Region  Government  held on 24th  December 2018 at Yangon Region Office  and  was  attended, by members of the Yangon Region Investment Committee.

At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee had already approved 24 foreign businesses with the total capital amount of US$ 37.241 million from five different countries and 2 citizen businesses with the capital amount of 3493.646 million kyats in the manufacturing sector and other services sector. Those approved 26 businesses are expected to create 14350 local job opportunities. Moreover, approved foreign businesses were increased in investment capital with total amount US$ 5.160 million.
