Mandalay International Trade Fair and Business Forum 2019 was held in Mandalay [1]

Mandalay International Trade Fair and Business Forum 2019 was held at Mandalay Convention Center on 23rd to 25th March 2019 in Mandalay. The Trade Fair and Business Forum jointly organized by Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC), Mandalay Region Government, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MRCCI).

The opening ceremony of the Trade Fair and Business Forum was attended by 800 people notably H. E Dr. Than Myint, Union Minister of Ministry of Commerce, H.E U Khin Maung Cho, Union Minister of Ministry of Industry, and Dr. Zaw Myint Maung, Chief Minister of Mandalay Region Government and Chairman of Mandalay Region Investment Committee, U Ye Lwin, the Mayor of Mandalay, U Aung Naing Oo, Secretary of Myanmar Investment Commission and Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, U Aung Win Khine, Honorary Patron of MRCCI, Chinese Counselor, India Counselor, representatives from the Embassies, the Presidents from UMFCCI and MRCCI, members of the Mandalay Region Government, governmental officials from related Ministries.

In the morning session of the first day of Forum, H.E Dr. Than Myint, Union Minister of Ministry of Commerce, H.E U Khin Maung Cho, Union Minister of Ministry of Industry, U Zaw Min Win, the President of UMFCCI and U Kyaw Min, the President of MRCCI, delivered the opening remarks respectively.

Then, Dr. Zaw Myint Maung, Chief Minister of Mandalay Region Government and Chairman of Mandalay Region Investment Committee delivered the remark on Mandalay Vision 2030.

The afternoon session was started with the presentation on the title of Mandalay beyond Horizon by U Aung Naing Oo, the Secretary of MIC and DG of DICA.

After that the Business Matching Session was also held at the same venue and foreign investors, local businessmen from Mandalay Region participated and discussed future cooperation.
