Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo inspects the Investment projects in Yangon Region, North Okkalarpa and Hlaing Thar Yar Townships

 Union Minister of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, U Aung Naing Oo visited the Anita Asia Company Limited, the garment industry operating in Yangon Region, North Okkalarpa Township under the permission of Myanmar Investment Commission in this afternoon. The responsible personnel from the industry greeted the Union Minister and explained about the operational procedures of the industry, receipt status of orders, the operational challenges and upcoming plans of the industry. The Union Minister coordinated and facilitated the requirements of the industry.

 Then, the Union Minister also visited the rice mill industry of Ayeyar Prince Trading Company Limited in Yangon Region, Hlaing Thar Yar Township. The responsible personnel of the industry explained about the investment activities, operational procedures of the rice mill machineries, conditions on exporting products, implementing contract farming activities. The Union Minister noted the responsible personnel of the industry to improve the productivity of the industry, exporting products and the inclusion of all the levels in supply chain by implementing contract farming and made the field inspection around the industry.

After that, the Union Minister made a meeting with the businessmen investing in Hlaing Thar Yar industrial zone at Kanaung Hall of the Shwe Lin Pan Industrial Zone. The chairman of the Shwe Lin Pan Industrial Zone Administrative Committee U Aye Thaung, General Secretary U Nay Lin Zin and the Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen of the Industrial Zones in Yangon Region attended the meeting and the attendees of the meeting discussed openly about the current activities of the industries, matters regarding banking and finance, reoperation of the burned and damaged factories, shipping, insurance, tax exemption, loans and improving the standards of the industries.

After hearing the reports of the attendees, the Union Minister coordinated the difficulties of the attendees by expressing the plans regarding the reoperation of the burned and damaged factories, the cooperation between the ministries related to investment, the allowance of Covid-19 loan for the reoperation of the industries, improvement of Agricultural and Small and Medium Enterprises, facilitation of the import and export processes, simplification of procedures of the Ministries, improvement on online services, services to existing permitted industries, reducing barrier to investment and improving transparency.
