Minister’s Dialogue on “Investment Future in Myanmar: Clear Skies or a Cloudy Forecast?”

Minister’s Dialogue on “Investment Future in Myanmar: Clear Skies or a Cloudy Forecast?” was held by cooperation with Myanmar Investment Commission and Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) at the Sedona Hotel, Yangon from 12:00 Pm to 15:00 Pm on 5th December, 2016.

          The dialogue intends to provide a platform for a frank and intimate discussion on Myanmar’s economic and financial sector, and the information from this dialogue will feed into SIIA’s private report to MIC on Singapore business perspectives on investment opportunities in Myanmar.

          At the Minister’s Dialogue, H.E. U Maung Maung Win, Deputy Minister for Ministry of Planning and Finance delivered the Opening Remarks and U Aung Naing Oo, Secretary of Myanmar Investment Commission, Director General for Directorate of Investment and Company Administration explained and discussed on “New Economic Priorities for Myanmar”. After that, Panel discussion was made and the businessmen from Singapore raised questions concerning what they want to know.

          About the total 30 businessmen from Singapore attended to this Minister’s Dialogue.
