DIRECTOR-GENERAL U THANT SIN LWIN PARTICIPANTS AS A PANELIST ON THE WORKSHOP “CAPACITY BUILDING FOR LDC COUNTRIES ON INVESTMENT PROMOTION”

U Thant Sin Lwin, Director General, the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration attended the “Capacity Building for LDC countries on Investment Promotion” as a panelist this afternoon. The workshop is co-funded by the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF).

The Workshop focus on the role of the Investment Promotion Agency in promoting the co-operation and smooth coordination of government-wide efforts to leverage private investment in the Sustainable Development Goals.

Next, the Director-General briefed on the short-term, mid-term, and long-term Plans of the Myanmar Investment Promotion Plan (MIPP).  Also, IPA facing the challenges and experiences were exchanged view with the representatives from Least Developed Countries during the workshop.  The workshop was attended by the representatives of the investment promotion agencies and the stakeholders.
