YANGON REGION INVESTMENT COMMITTEE HOLDS ITS (4/2022) MEETING
The Yangon Region Investment Committee meeting (4/2022) was held via video conferencing system at the YRIC office on 27th April 2022. The meeting was attended by U Soe Thein, Chairman of the YRIC and Chief Minister for the Yangon Region Government, members of the committee and investors.
At the meeting, Yangon Region Investment Committee approved a Myanmar citizen investment and four foreign investment projects. The approved projects are international value-added rice production and export, garment manufacturing, and plastic production with CMP.
The total investment capital of these investment projects will be 1444.49 million Kyats and US $ 3.997 million with a total of 5 projects expected to create 3370 local jobs. In addition, the general issues raised by the 19 companies were discussed at the meeting.
