SUB-GROUP 1 TASK FORCE MEETING FOR INFRASTRUCTURE PPP

The Sub-Group 1: Legal Aspect Task Force Meeting for Infrastructure PPP, jointly organized by Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) under Ministry of Planning and Finance and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), was held at the office of DICA in Yangon at 10:00 am on 12 January, 2017.

It was attended by a total of 30 participants comprising of Task Force Members led by U Aung Naing Oo, Director General of DICA, Deputy Director General, directors and staff from DICA, representatives from JICA Myanmar Office and Kelvin Chia Yangon Ltd.

At the meeting, Director General U Aung Naing Oo, the PPP Task Force Leader, and Deputy Director General U Kyaw Kyaw Naing from Union Attorney General Office delivered the opening remarks respectively. Then the responsible persons Kelvin Chia Yangon Ltd. explained about the template agreements (draft) for three focused sectors such as road, port and electricity and discussed the contents of the agreements to the participants.
