THE 5TH MEETING OF THE INCLUSIVE BUSINESS/IMPACT INVESTING STEERING GROUP

A virtual event on 5th Meeting of the Inclusive Business/Impact Investing Steering Group organized by the DaNa Facility was held from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm on 12 August 2020. The meeting was attended by a total of 31 participants notably U Aung Naing Oo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, U Thant Sin Lwin, Director General of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), Daw Naw Mutakapaw, Director General of the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, U Khon Aye Naing, Director General of Small-Scale Industries Department and officials from the Cooperative Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, U Aung Myo Khaing, Deputy Director General of the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection under the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry, Deputy Director General and Officials from DICA and members of the  Inclusive Business/Impact Investing Steering Group.

At the meeting, Mr. Peter Brimble, Senior Technical Advisor from the DaNa Facility gave the introductory remarks and Director General U Thant Sin Lwin and Deputy Director General U Aung Myo Khaing delivered the opening remarks. Then the BOP Inc. presented current initiatives for Inclusive Business Development and then the participants and members of the Inclusive Business/Impact Investing Steering Group discussed matters related to the Inclusive Business Policy Framwork and Work Plan.
