The seminar on draft Myanmar Companies law of Investment Promotion Working Group under Myanmar-Japan Joint Initiative Phase II was conducted at Directorate of Investment and Company Administration in Yangon at 2:00 pm on 10th October, 2016.
The seminar was attended by the total of 40 delegates from Japan Embassy to Myanmar, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Myanmar (JCCM), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) including officials from Directorate of Investment and Company Administration.
At the seminar,U Aung Naing Oo, Director General of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration and Mr. MARUYAMA, EoJ Minister Counsellor, Embassy of Japan delivered the opening remarks respectively and Ms. Melinda Tun, corporate law expert from Asian Development Bank (ADB) presented about Draft Myanmar Companies Law in details. Then, the participants raised the questions and gave comments on Draft Myanmar Companies Law and the seminar was concluded at noon 4.00 pm.
