Discussion between Directorate of Investment and Company Administration and American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore was held on 7 June, 2016 at Sedona Hotel, Yangon, from 10:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m.
The discussion was attended by a total of (30) participants notably including Director General from Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, H.E Mr. Scot Marciel, U.S Ambassador to Myanmar and the AmCham Singapore business delegation led by H.E Mr. Kirk Wagar, U.S Ambassador to Singapore.
In the discussion session, Director General U Aung Naing Oo elaborated the role of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, future plans and the investment opportunities in Myanmar. After his elaboration, the delegates raise the questions regarding doing business in Myanmar and Director General responded to their questions.
