With the collaboration of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Mid-year Wrap-up Meeting for Infrastructure PPP Task Force in Myanmar FY 2016/17 was conducted at DICA office in Yangon today (11st October 2016). It was attended by a total of 22 participants comprising of Deputy Director Generals of DICA, 11 Myanmar taskforce members and 5 Representatives from JICA Myanmar Office and 3 DICA staffs. At the meeting, U Thant Sin Lwin, Deputy Director General of DICA gave the opening remarks to the participants. The two taskforce Members under Ministry of Planning and Finance made presentations of the Government of Myanmar’s Policy on Infrastructure Investment. Then Mr. Kyosuke INADA, Deputy Chief Representative of JICA Myanmar Office, made a presentation on summary of DICA-JICA mid-year activities (FY 2016/17). The attendees also discuss on possible way forward for the activities of DICA-JICA Infrastructure PPP Task Force and the meeting was concluded at 11:45 am.
