The Preparatory Meeting to establish the OECD – Myanmar Corporate Governance Advisory Group jointly organized by Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development and Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development was held at the office of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration on 20th October, 2015. It was attended by 35 official from Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development, Ministry of Co-operative, Ministry of Communication, Information and Technology, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Electric Power, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Mining, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Rail Transportation, Central Bank of Myanmar, Yangon Stock Exchange and Security Exchange Commission led by Director General of Directorate of Investment and Company Administration (DICA), and his directors and representatives from OECD.
At the meeting, the attendee cordially discussed about the future process of OECD – Myanmar Corporate Governance Advisory Group according to Draft Term of Reference (TOR).
