The first meeting on Investment Promotion Working Group of Myanmar-Japan Joint Initiative Phase II was conducted at Myanmar Investment Commission in Yangon at 10:00 am on 12th July, 2016.
Meeting was attended by the total of 30 delegates from Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, Ministry of Commerce , Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Japan Embassy to Myanmar, Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry,Myanmar(JCCM), Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA) and Japan External Trade Organization(JETRO).
At the meeting,U Aung Naing Oo, Director General of the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration and Mr. Ichiro MARUYAMA, Minister Counsellor, Embassy of Japan delivered the opening remarks respectively. Then, the participants discussed issues related to Myanmar Investment Law(Draft), Labour Management and Foreign Direct Investment Promotion Plan.
